The Porsche-designed Panzerbefehlswagen VI Tiger (P) was a German heavy tank prototype from World War II. It stemmed from the VK 45.01 (P) program, one of two competing designs, with Henschel's VK 45.01 (H) chosen for mass production as the Tiger I. The Tiger (P) remained in limited prototype production. Around one hundred Porsche chassis were made, with ninety converted into Ferdinand tank destroyers, ten completed as turreted tanks for training, and one rebuilt as a command vehicle, designated Panzerbefehlswagen VI (P).
